Close to beach yet convenient stay

The location of the Fairfield by Marriott Luquillo Beach was simply fantastic, just a five-minute walk to Luquillo Beach and the vibrant kiosks. I loved the beautiful pool area, which offered ample seating options in both sun and shade, perfect for lounging. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the affordable in-house restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise given the typical hotel dining experiences.

Disappointingly, the air conditioning in my room was old and noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The lack of consistent cleanliness in the rooms was frustrating, as I found hard packets of creamer that were unusable. Additionally, parking was an extra cost that I did not expect, and it made my stay feel less like a vacation.

The layout feels more like a business hotel than a beach destination, lacking necessary features like towel bars for wet swimwear. The A/C units are outdated, malfunctioning, and noisy, causing sleep disturbances. one guest had to move rooms at 10 PM due to a failed unit. Bathroom amenities fall short, and the $25 nightly "destination fee" seems unwarranted given the few amenities available. breakfast options were limited and underwhelming. Room cleanliness isn't consistent, with issues like hard, unusable powdered creamer packets.

The stay was fantastic, especially enjoying the lovely pool area and the convenience of the laundry room while everything felt really clean and cozy. I loved lounging by the outdoor pool and sipping on drinks under the sun. Just a heads up, the creamer packets in the room were a bit stale, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all! 🌞

The Standard King Room was super comfy and clean, with great air conditioning. It felt cozy after a day out. I loved how the staff checked in via text to make sure everything was good. The complimentary breakfast was a nice perk, too, with a decent variety that changed daily. Plus, the view of the rainforest from the room was a bonus!

i really enjoyed my stay, especially the proximity to balneario luquillo just about 500 meters away and the delicious local dining options like antojito within a short walk, which made exploring a breeze.

Nice clean room and very friendly staff. Luggage storage was a bit lacking.
